The Elvis Asare-Badiako Youth Ambassadorial Program in Climate Action and Green Initiatives is a visionary program designed to motivate and empower young people to become leaders in the fight against climate change and advocates for sustainable development. Named in honor of Elvis Asare-Badiako, our current Vice-Chancellor, who is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and environmental sustainability, this program seeks to harness the energy, creativity, and innovation of young people to drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond
What started as a small tree-planting initiative in Ghana's Bono Region has grown into a continental movement, spanning 15 countries and engaging over 500,000 volunteers in the fight against climate change and environmental degradation.
